Renowned insider Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that Los Angeles Clippers point guard Russell Westbrook is planning to make a return to the team's lineup next week. His comeback is expected during the match against the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

Three weeks ago, Westbrook underwent hand surgery following an injury sustained during a game against the Washington Wizards in early March, where he fractured his hand.

During the current season, the 35-year-old player has appeared in 58 games, averaging 11.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.

It's worth noting that Westbrook has previously dealt with a right-hand injury at the start of the 2014/15 season. At that time, he successfully underwent surgery and returned to the court after 27 days, missing 14 games.

Furthermore, the Clippers' performance throughout the ongoing regular season can be described as excellent. With 44 wins in 69 games played, the team has secured the fourth position in the Western Conference standings.
