The director of Girona told how much they are ready to sell the top scorer of La Liga

The top scorer of last season's La Liga, Artem Dovbyk, is currently playing in the UEFA Euro 2024 with the Ukrainian national team.

However, his club future remains a hot topic of discussion. The question of a possible transfer for the 27-year-old forward is frequently raised, with clubs like Atletico Madrid, Napoli, and AC Milan showing interest.

These rumors prompted Girona director Quique Cárcel to comment on the situation with last season's top scorer ahead of the club's historic debut in the UEFA Champions League.

"The club and I personally do not want to sell Dovbyk. But if potential buyers pay 40 million euros… well, we will have no choice but to sell," - said the Spanish official.

Last season, Dovbyk scored 25 goals and provided 10 assists.
