Ngannou’s coach shared insights into the Cameroonian's future plans following a personal tragedy

Francis Ngannou's coach, Dewey Cooper, spoke about the Cameroonian's future plans following a tragedy in his family.
It is worth recalling that the former UFC heavyweight champion, lost his 18-month-old son in April.
"In the wake of the recent loss of his 18-month-old son in April, we are not even considering fights at this point. There's nothing more tragic than losing your child. You expect the natural order of things. We are supposed to outlive our children, so when something like this happens, I'm not sure how you recover from something so traumatic.
He's taking it day by day. I'm not even thinking about fights or what he's going to do. My heart is with him. I just wish him healing and the ability to somehow cope with it. It's bad. And it's very sad," Cooper said.
Ngannou has competed in two boxing matches since transitioning from MMA, both resulting in losses. In March, Francis lost a bout against Anthony Joshua, which lasted only two rounds.
