Asekho Tiwani and Kobamelo Kodisang will not feature for Stellenbosch FC when they face Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday night.

The two players are on loan at Stellies from Sundowns and the loan agreement between the two sides dictates that such players do not play against their parent team.

Tiwani has been the more active of the two at the Cape Winelands club, as he has featured 14 times this season in comparison to Kodisang’s three appearances.

This is a blow for coach Gavin Hunt as he pursues a top eight spot while Sundowns just want to cement their grip on the PSL standings.

Hunt’s Stellies are on the ninth spot and are buoyed by their resounding 3-1 win over Sekhukhune United last Friday night.

The only plus ahead of this game is that Mosa Lebusa is not tied by this rule as his move from Sundowns to was a permanent deal.

So Stellies will not be thin of experience when they visit Loftus Versveld on Wednesday night.

The match starts at 7.30pm.
