Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk defeated Britain’s Tyson Fury for the second time, defending his WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBO heavyweight titles. The fight lasted all twelve rounds, with the judges unanimously scoring in favor of the reigning champion.

During the match, the broadcast displayed scorecards from one of this generation's most talented boxers, Anthony Joshua, who had previously fought both Usyk and Fury. Interestingly, Joshua often sided with his compatriot Fury in moments that weren’t always clear-cut.

According to Joshua’s scoring, Usyk only began to take control and win the fight by the ninth round. Up until then, Fury had maintained a slight advantage in his assessment.

Fans on social media were unimpressed with Joshua’s scoring and didn’t hold back their criticism.

“Anthony Joshua’s scorecard is dumb,” one user posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“Are they joking?” another user wrote.

“Watching Anthony Joshua’s decline is sad. From one of the best to a sideshow fighter in Saudi Arabia,” another fan lamented.

“Anthony Joshua’s scores are fake.”

“I think we learned Anthony Joshua would make a terrible judge if he thinks Usyk only won one round,” another fan quipped.

For reference, the 35-year-old Joshua last stepped into the ring on September 22, when he suffered a fifth-round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois.
