Siwelele FC coach Lehlohonolo Seema on Orlando Pirates' title challenge: I think Pirates have what it takes to fight for the PSL trophy
Lehlohonolo Seema sees Orlando Pirates mounting a meaningful challenge to the Betway Premiership title.
The Siwelele FC coach engineered Pirates’ failure to win yesterday when they played 1-1 at a packed Orlando Amstel Arena in a PSL match.
That draw earned Pirates a single point instead of three of that meant their challenge for the PSL title takes a knock.
But they are a point ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns who are second on the Betway Premiership table with a game less.
It does not seem as if it will be easy for Sundowns to let go of the title they have won for the past eight seasons in succession.
Seema, though, does believe in the Sea Robbers to make something out of their season.
“Pirates are a good team, and I think they will push until the last game to challenge for the title,” said Seema during a SuperSport TV post-match interview.
