Nkosikhona Ndaba on Orlando Pirates' title chase: We are challenging for the PSL title this season and positive results are important
Nkosikhona Ndaba has not minced his words on what actually Orlando Pirates want in the Betway Premiership title race.
Ndaba is not at all modest about the fact that the Sea Robbers are gunning for the PSL title.
That they aim for the League honours has been something Pirates are coy about even though their dominant displays have actually prove they are pursuing the title.
Abdeslam Ouaddou’s troops host Siwelele FC tomorrow in the PSL match at the Orlando Amstel Arena, where they will be hoping to extend their lead atop of the standings.
Pirates are on top of the standings through their superior goal difference as they are also have 47 points like second placed Mamelodi Sundowns.
“All games that we play are very important. We have to take three points because we are chasing the league,” he told Orlando Pirates TV.
“The outcome of the game was very important even though it was not easy.
“We analysed them and we were able to identify their strengths. They are good in marking, and they are good in transition, and they know how to press.
“It was a very difficult game. It wasn’t easy at all.
“We needed plenty of goals but we were unable to score them. We will get chances, all we need to do is convert the chances.”
