Abdeslam Ouaddou does not believe it was Ricardo Goss in goals for Siwelele FC yesterday at Orlando Amstel Arena.

The Orlando Pirates coach could not believe how the game ended in 1-1 draw between the two teams as they had done all they could to win the game at a packed Soweto venue.

The Moroccan born coach said – as we head to the Easter Holidays – it was Jesus Christ in goals for Siwelele in their Betway Premiership match.

“First of all, we have to give credit to the goalkeeper; he was the Man of the Match. We didn’t have a goalkeeper today; we had Jesus Christ in the posts today,” said Ouaddou.

“He saved everything, so we have to give him credit. I don’t know if I have to say something to my players; they give everything, shots on target, created chances, but we had a wall in the goals, and I think he saved his team today. He did a fantastic job.”
Ouaddou’s Pirates remain on top of the PSL standings following the draw which dented their aim to extend the lead on the table.

Pirates are now on 49 points with Sundowns on the second spot with 48 and a game less than the Sea Robbers.

Sundowns face Marumo Gallants in a midweek fixture where they will be aiming to close the gap in this title race.
