Scandal in the CAF Champions League: TP Mazembe suspected of using black magic
Congolese side TP Mazembe found themselves at the center of a scandal after their CAF Champions League second qualifying round match against Tunisia’s Club Africain. The encounter ended in a 1-1 draw, but attention after the final whistle turned to an incident away from the pitch.
According to Micky Jnr on the social media platform X, objects allegedly linked to black magic were discovered at the stadium. They were found in the tunnel leading to the playing field. The match commissioner has reportedly already been informed of the incident.
It remains unknown who the objects belonged to or why they were brought into the stadium. There have also been no official explanations that could establish the circumstances of what happened.

The situation could raise further questions for the match organizers and TP Mazembe representatives. However, at this stage, these are only suspicions: no confirmed conclusions implicating the Congolese club in the alleged use of such practices have been published.
