Sahin has decided on his assistants at Borussia Dortmund. Among them is club legend

Recently, former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Şahin became at the helm of the Bumblebees, but the issue of staffing was quite acute. But still, the new manager of the team managed to solve it.

According to the official website of the Champions League finalist, they will be: Turk Ertugrul Arslan and Portuguese Joao Tralhao, with whom Şahin worked in Turkish Antalyaspor, as well as former Borussia defender and true legend of the Bumblebees Łukasz Piszczek.

Notably, the Pole will only end his playing career with his return to Dortmund. With his departure from Borussia in 2021, 39 years-old Piszczek returned to his first club, LKS Goczalkowice-Zdrój, where he was a playing coach. That team now competes in the lower Polish divisions.

At the same time, the assistants who worked with Edin Terzić, namely Sven Bender and Sebastian Geppert, will leave Signal Iduna Park at the end of their contracts on 30 June. Their replacements will start work the following day.
