Today marks the culmination of the 28th round, undoubtedly, the pinnacle of the second half of the Premier League season, as Liverpool welcomes Manchester City to their grounds. Victory in this encounter could hold decisive sway in the race for the championship title, and each of the managers is harnessing all available resources to achieve their set objectives.

Furthermore, this meeting holds significant weight, considering it could be the final showdown between Jürgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola. In January, the German tactician declared his intention to depart Liverpool at the end of the current season.

During his nine-year tenure at Anfield, he steered the team to triumph in the Champions League, the FA Cup, and the Football League Cup, as well as securing the league title for Liverpool for the first time in 30 years.

Yet, it is challenging to assess Klopp's influence on Liverpool without considering Manchester City, as Guardiola has also made significant strides. Indeed, these two teams have been the dominant forces in England in recent years.

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski is among the few footballers fortunate enough to have played under both managers. He amassed 186 appearances for Borussia Dortmund under Klopp's tutelage and 100 games for Bayern Munich under Guardiola's guidance.

When asked who he thinks is the best coach, he said he would go with Jürgen Klopp. While speaking with ESPN in 2020, he said:

“I think Jurgen Klopp [is my favourite], and after that Pep Guardiola. One hundred percent.

[Klopp] has two faces. You see that he is kind of like a father, but the second part is like a coach, a manager.

He can tell you everything - and I'm not talking about the good, but the bad. He is also a huge motivation for [the players].

He does it perfectly because he knows where the line is where he can [push you] a little more or a little less. His performance as a coach is amazing, not only as a coach, but as a person.”

It's worth noting that the showdown between Liverpool and Manchester City will take place today, March 10th, at Anfield. The referee will commence proceedings with the opening whistle at 16:45 Central European Time. Dailysports has prepared information for you on where you can watch this match in your country.
