Rabiu Promises Big Cash Boost for Super Eagles

BUA Group Chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu has promised major cash rewards to motivate the Super Eagles at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. In a post on X, he congratulated the team after beating Algeria, saying, “Congratulations to our Super Eagles players… You have lifted the spirit of the nation.”

Rabiu pledged “USD $500,000 to the players upon winning the semi-final… with an additional USD $50,000 for every goal scored.” He added that a final victory would attract “USD $1,000,000, plus USD $100,000 for each goal.” Urging focus, he wrote, “Keep making Nigeria proud.” Nigeria face hosts Morocco on January 14 in Rabat.
