The shorts worn by Muhammad Ali in one of his legendary fights have been put up for sale.
The lot has appeared on the website of the auction house Sotheby’s. These black and white shorts were worn by Ali on October 1, 1975, during his bout against Joe Frazier.
That fight was famously dubbed the "Thrilla in Manila" and is considered one of the most iconic in boxing history. Ali emerged as the victor after 14 rounds.
The shorts bear the signature of the legendary champion, who passed away in 2016.
It is expected that the shorts will fetch between 4 and 6 million dollars at auction. The auction will run until April 12th.
