No meeting with Jesus? New details emerge in the 'Ronaldo case'
Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Saudi Arabia after leaving the Portugal squad's camp. The star forward has already arrived in Riyadh, where he intends to resume training with Al-Nassr as soon as possible.
According to AS, despite the possibility of a reconciliation with the coaching staff, Ronaldo left Portugal. The footballer has already turned his focus to club duties and wants to reach peak form ahead of Al-Nassr's match on Friday.
The reasons behind Ronaldo's departure from the national team's camp remain unclear. The situation has been dubbed the “Cristiano case,” but neither Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus nor the player himself has publicly revealed the details of what happened. Earlier reports suggested that the coach was ready to meet with the footballer to clear the air once and for all.
