Norway and Portugal produced a true goal fest in the first half of their Nations League matchday four clash. The teams traded spectacular goals within just two minutes, and the scoreboard read 1-1 after 45 minutes.
Norway defender Kristoffer Ajer opened the scoring in the 36th minute. The footballer found an opportunity to shoot and unleashed a stunning strike that ended up in the back of the net. The goal was so spectacular that it could well be in contention for one of the best of the current international break.
Portugal responded almost instantly, however. Just two minutes later, João Cancelo restored parity with an incredible strike of his own. The defender unleashed a powerful shot, leaving Norway's goalkeeper with no chance.

The goal was particularly notable for Cancelo. The defender has now scored in two consecutive matches for Portugal, continuing to impress with his eye for goal. The teams therefore went into the break level at 1-1. Norway and Portugal will resume their battle for vital points in the Nations League group in the second half.
