Mission impossible. Prankster dressed in an England shirt and wanted to take part in a team photo
Yesterday, the England national team kicked off their campaign in the new edition of the UEFA Nations League. Their first opponent was Ireland, and the match ended with a confident 2-0 victory for the Three Lions. However, the game was memorable not only for the action on the pitch.
In addition to Declan Rice and Jack Grealish being booed by the crowd, and interim coach Lee Carsley notably not singing the anthem, a humorous incident occurred before the match even started.
One of the fans orchestrated a daring stunt. He disguised himself in an England kit, waited for the players to take the field, slipped past security, and managed to line up alongside the players. Wearing a jersey with the number 69, he blended in with the team but lacked the official jacket, which likely gave him away. He made it within a meter of Anthony Gordon, with the players looking at him in confusion as he stood there, maintaining a calm demeanor.
Soon after, he was quickly identified and escorted off the field. The fan did not resist, instead adopting a surprised expression, using gestures to feign confusion as to why he was being asked to leave.
The prankster turned out to be well-known YouTuber Daniel Jarvis, known by his alias "Jarvo." He previously disrupted a BBC broadcast with sexual sounds, interrupted the Euro 2024 draw in a similar manner, and even ruined South Africa's Rugby World Cup celebration. This latest prank may result in him being banned from attending football matches, adding to his existing ban from racecourses.
