Mike Tyson responds to Jake Paul's claim that he has Parkinson’s disease

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has reacted to comments made by his former opponent, Jake Paul, who claimed during a YouTube livestream with Adin Ross that Tyson overcame Parkinson’s disease before stepping into the ring in November.
During their conversation, Paul and Ross were discussing psychedelic substances, with the YouTuber-turned-boxer admitting that he uses special mushrooms for “brain healing.” Paul also spoke about the benefits of smoking ayahuasca and a particular psychedelic substance derived from toad venom.
At one point, Jake unexpectedly mentioned that Tyson had smoked the toad venom substance, which, according to him, helped the former heavyweight champion “get rid of Parkinson’s” and return to the ring.
Paul’s statement quickly prompted a response from Tyson’s camp, which firmly denied that the boxing icon has any illness or suffers from Parkinson’s disease.
Following the rebuttal from Iron Mike, Paul retracted his statement, clarifying on his X account that he had been misunderstood and that his words were taken out of context.
Tyson and Paul faced off in the ring in November 2024, with the young YouTuber-turned-fighter emerging victorious.
