Mexico is left without a head coach following the Copa America

In the early hours of Monday, July 15, the 2024 Copa America tournament concluded. Following this, Mexico decided to dismiss their head coach.
The Mexican team failed to advance to the playoffs, having played in a group with Venezuela, Ecuador, and Jamaica. Mexico managed a narrow 1-0 victory over Jamaica but subsequently lost 0-1 to Venezuela and drew 0-0 with Ecuador. As a result, Mexico accumulated four points and did not advance to the playoffs.
The Mexican Football Federation announced the dismissal of Jaime Lozano as head coach. Initially, they offered him a position on the coaching staff until 2027 as an assistant to the next manager, with the possibility of reassuming the head coach role afterward. However, Lozano declined the offer and left his position.
Additionally, changes are likely in the United States. They were interested in appointing Jürgen Klopp as head coach, but the German specialist wants a break from football and declined the offer.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian Football Federation confirmed that Dorival Júnior will remain the head coach despite Brazil's quarterfinal exit in the Copa America.
