Manchester United and adidas have entered into a new long-term contract, which will take effect from next year. This was reported by The Times.

The agreement covers the period until 2035 and includes annual payments of £90 million, plus bonuses.

Under the new terms, if Manchester United's men's or women's teams win the Premier League, the FA Cup, or a European cup, the club will receive additional revenue of up to £4.4 million for each of these tournaments.

Additionally, the conditions for penalty sanctions have been revised. Currently, the club is only required to pay a penalty in the event of failure to qualify for the Champions League for two consecutive seasons, which has not occurred since the signing of the previous agreement. According to the new rules, starting from next year, Manchester United will pay a penalty of £10 million for each season in which the team fails to qualify for the Champions League.
