Manchester City has finalized all terms with the Philadelphia Union regarding the transfer of the 14-year-old prodigy, Cavan Sullivan.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Manchester City will sign the player, but he will only be able to join the City squad upon reaching the age of 18. It is also noted that if the young talent demonstrates promising results in the next two years, he may transfer to any City Football Group team earlier, specifically at the age of 16. This is due to Sullivan holding a German passport. However, it precludes his eligibility to play for Manchester City, as the United Kingdom is not a member of the European Union.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal has already been finalized, with the Citizens paying approximately $1 million for the player, making it the most expensive sale in the history of the Philadelphia Union's youth academy.

Despite his tender age, the midfielder has already made his debut for his team's reserve squad and has appeared in the MLS Next Pro league.

Sullivan hails from a footballing family, with his brother Quinn making waves at the Philadelphia Union, and his father teaching at a school affiliated with the club.
