Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso ahead of the second leg tie against Esperance: It's only half time now as we prepare for the second leg match
Miguel Cardoso has expressed caution ahead of the Caf Champions League second leg semi-final against Esperance this weekend.
Cardoso’s Sundowns left Tunisia on Sunday evening 1-0 victorious in the first leg and expectation is that they will be able to earn a win to proceed to this year’s final.
Columbian striker Brayan Leone scored the solitary goal in Tunis from a Thapelo Morena cross.
“Now we just on halftime that’s how important it is to go to the second match,” Cardoso told journalists.
“Regarding the line-up for the second leg, who’s in who’s out let’s go back to Pretoria let’s understand how we want to play the game and then what we have to do.
“Esperance is a big club whoever is the coach, a big team whoever is the coach. That all comes from their history that’s a exactly the same thing with Sundowns, it’s not the coach that makes the club it’s the fans, the board, the history and the players.”
