Judgment day: Premier League to announce financial fair play violations tomorrow

The reporting period for Premier League clubs has ended, with all teams required to submit their financial statements for the fiscal year by December 31. The league has reviewed the reports and is ready to deliver its verdict.
Details: According to Sky Sports, on January 14, the Premier League will name the clubs that failed to meet financial fair play (FFP) regulations and announce disciplinary actions. The clubs found guilty will have 14 days to respond, after which an independent commission will review the cases over a 12-week period.
Reminder: Clubs are permitted to declare losses of no more than £105 million over three seasons, covering the 2021–2024 period. This amount is reduced by £22 million for each season a club spends outside the Premier League during the reporting period.
For clubs promoted from the Championship, avoiding penalties is typically easier—a feat Leicester managed in the past. However, Everton and Nottingham Forest were less fortunate, as they previously faced points deductions for FFP breaches.
