Today in Mexico City, Mexico, the UFC Fight Night 237 tournament took place, with the main event featuring a bout between Mexican Brandon Moreno and American Brandon Royval. It's worth noting that Royval emerged victorious by a split decision from the judges.

However, the event was overshadowed by a mass brawl that erupted among spectators in the stands, resulting in one fan being knocked out.

Video footage circulating online depicts the brutality of the fans and the absence of any security measures.

UFC President Dana White was furious about the incident and stated that it was a singular occurrence at their events. Commenting on the situation before journalists, he said:

"A brawl in the crowd doesn't look good for the UFC, has never happened before. It literally has never happened.

It happened here, in Mexico. The craziest thing about this fight is, when it started, it seemed like it was going to last forever. So, I ran up there and watched it.

Nobody stopped it. I waited for security. They just left them there until it was over.

It was one of the craziest things I've ever seen. I don't think it's a bad look for the UFC.

I think after everybody saw the end of this shit, nobody's going to want to do it again. No security. Fight just went on until it was over. I've never seen that shit in my life."
