The national teams of Morocco and Senegal are facing off in Rabat in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The match has been full of intrigue, but so far the fans have not witnessed any goals. In the 67th minute, a worrying incident unfolded: following a cross into the Senegal penalty area, El Aynaoui collided heads with Diouf.
The referee decided to halt the match and wait while medical staff attended to the injured players. The images were especially distressing for Moroccan midfielder El Aynaoui, whose head was covered in blood.
It's worth noting that the Roma midfielder suffered a nasty cut above his eyebrow, but after receiving medical attention, he returned to the pitch with his head heavily bandaged.
