Despite a highly successful run on the pitch, the club still can't manage to turn a profit.
Details: Today, UEFA released its financial report for clubs for the past season, once again highlighting Aston Villa's substantial losses.
Reports indicate that in the 2024/25 season, the "Lions" posted a pre-tax loss of £82 million.
The club has been hemorrhaging cash for the third consecutive season: losses stood at £120.3 million in 2022/23, and £85.9 million in 2023/24.
In total, over the last three years, Aston Villa has lost around £290 million—a blow that severely impacts the team's budget.
Yet, despite these dire financial numbers, Aston Villa is delivering one of the best performances in the club's history. Currently, Unai Emery's side sits third in the Premier League table with 56 points after 27 rounds.
