Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Keagan Dolly on the PSL title race: I don't see anyone stopping Sundowns from winning the PSL this season
Keagan Dolly does not see any hindrance derailing Mamelodi Sundowns’ plans to annex their ninth successive PSL title.
The former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder said the Brazilians are strong for any Betway Premiership side to match them.
Sundowns are on top of the PSL standings with 47 points, three more than second placed Orlando Pirates, who play Richards Bay FC this evening.
“Even if you know the players, the club is so good and doing, what they do – even if the opposition knows how they play, but because they stick to their guns and don’t change anything for anyone, no matter who they play in Africa or a lower division team, they don’t change, they play the same way,” Dolly explained on the Pitchside Podcast.
“That’s the most important thing, when you stick to the [game] model and what you’re good at, nobody can take it away, even if you make mistakes – you know what you’re doing.
“The team know how good they are at what they do and when they do it the right way. The same with us back in the day, the first five or six games we’d be fighting, losing, drawing. But once you get that momentum and you understand each other you go into every game knowing you will get a goal.”
