The Orlando Magic has made a historic decision for the franchise. For the first time in its illustrious history, they have chosen to retire the jersey number of one of their former basketball icons.

This decision pertains to the number 32, famously worn by the legendary Shaquille O'Neal during his tenure with the Orlando Magic.

On February 13, as part of their 35th-anniversary festivities, the Orlando Magic will ceremoniously retire the number 32, marking a definitive moment in the franchise's history.

Shaquille O'Neal was selected by Orlando in the first round of the 1992 draft and showcased his talents for the team over a remarkable four-year span.
