Karim Adeyemi needed just one Champions League appearance in a Barcelona shirt to make his mark.

Details: Barcelona's summer signing opened his Champions League account for the Catalan club in the league-phase clash with Feyenoord at Spotify Camp Nou. Adeyemi received the ball outside the penalty area, created enough space for himself and curled a superb effort into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with virtually no chance. His strike made it 2-0 to Hansi Flick's side after Raphinha had opened the scoring in the third minute.

The goal was particularly memorable for Adeyemi because it was his first in the Champions League for Barcelona. The German forward was trusted from the opening whistle alongside Raphinha and Lamine Yamal and quickly rewarded Flick's decision with one of the standout moments of the first half.

Adeyemi joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund during the summer of 2026 and has already begun settling into the Catalans' attacking system. His pace gives Flick another option both on the flank and when Barcelona need to attack space behind the opposition defence.

It is worth noting that before the meeting with Feyenoord, the 24-year-old had already registered one goal and one assist in 116 LaLiga minutes for Barcelona.

Reminder: Just three minutes in! Raphinha scores Barcelona's first Champions League goal. VIDEO
