FIFA introduced absurd fines at the Club World Cup. What's going on?

The Club World Cup in the United States has already been marked by a series of bizarre decisions, but FIFA wasn't about to stop there and continued to "amaze" the public.
Details: According to Tuttosport, due to poor profitability, the world's football governing body decided to cash in on... yellow and red cards handed out to players. It's almost impossible to find a match without any cautions, making this a goldmine for FIFA.
For every yellow card, a club will be forced to pay Gianni Infantino and his associates €10,400. A second yellow will cost €13,000, while a straight red card will set a club back €17,400. This is illustrated by Juventus, who picked up four yellow cards in their match against Al-Ain, and will therefore enrich FIFA by around €42,000.
Reminder: This innovation is also brewing for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, which has already drawn criticism from the England national team.
