Esperance's Jack Diarra's agrees with his coach ahead of their clash against Mamelodi Sundowns: It is possible to beat Sundowns like we beat Al-Ahly
It does look like Patrice Beaumelle has control of his Esperance change room.
Jack Diarra’s sentiments ahead of their Caf Champions League semi-final match at Loftus Versveld are not contrary to what his coach said.
In actual fact they share the same view and that observation is that Esperance can stage the unthinkable to overturn a 1-0 lead Sundowns took in the first leg.
“It’s a football game so they beat us at home, but remember we beat Al Ahly away, so I think it’s possible, actually I believe with my teammates, I believe with them it’s possible that we can do it again and beat Mamelodi Sundowns here in Pretoria,” said Diarra.
“No, no, why? You think Sundowns is better than us? They have their way of doing things, and we have our own way — they are not more experienced than us, I don’t believe that,” he said.
It will be an interesting match at the Pretoria venue as Sundowns look to reach their second final in two years.
The game will start at 3pm.
