Last night, a fight broke out between England and Germany fans after the German national team was eliminated from Euro 2024, losing to Spain in extra time.

Photos from the Daily Mail show English fans taunting German supporters before a scuffle erupts, with police cordoning off both sides of the street.

One witness reported, "English fans were mocking the Germans over their defeat by Spain and then started singing songs like, 'Have you ever seen the Germans win a war?' About 20 English fans clashed with a group of Germans, and then a few people started fighting."

Glasses were used as projectiles, and beer was thrown at the Germans until the police cordoned off the area around the Steak-Haus bar. The scuffle quickly ended, but England fans attempted to escalate tensions again by singing "La Viva Espanol."

It was noted that the police managed to quickly stop the scuffle. England fans have mostly behaved well during the first four weeks of the tournament, except for one incident of violence at the first match against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen.
