Durban City 2-0 loss to Orlando Pirates triggers club management to part ways with coach Gavin Hunt
Durban City are stood to be looking for a new coach to replace Gavin Hunt.
It seems as though City’s 2-0 loss to Orlando Pirates is the trigger puller in this union between the two parties.
Hunt has not had the best of working relations at the Durban club as he also clashed with former technical director Ernst Middendorp.
Hunt and City have not mended their ways after Middendorp left the club as it was reported that their clashes were largely on the way forward and approach, technically, the team is pursuing.
City, PSL newcomers are playing against fellow Premiership newbies Orbit College this Wednesday in a Betway Premiership and Hunt is not expected to be on the bench.
To his credit, the four-time PSL championship winner, Hunt has given City a positive impetus given that the club is in the top half of the PSL table and does look a team with sharpness.
