Back on form! Relebohile Mofokeng looks to be back on form for Orlando Pirates as he created a goal and earned the Man of the Match award

Relebohile Mofokeng is back.

The Orlando Pirates midfielder was all smiles on Saturday after his side’s 2-0 win over Durban City in the Betway Premiership match after being named Man of the Match.

Mofokeng has not been at his usual best self this season having suffered injury which saw him lose his place in the national team.

Creating Evidence Makgopa’s goal and also being a menace in the opposition defence signalled Mofokeng’s return to form.

"I think coming back from the injury has been tough.

"But now I'm coming back, I'm returning to being myself again, I'm getting used to it.

"I think the important thing is coming back, it's the consistency. So, I think I will just continue working hard," he detailed.

On their win which saw them overtake Mamelodi Sundowns on top of the PSL standings, Mofokeng credited their persistence.

“It was really tough. The wind was against us, so that made it tough, but at least we went into half-time leading," Mofokeng said.
