RB Leipzig and Slovenia national team striker Benjamin Šeško will not be joining any top club this summer.

The young forward has officially extended his contract with his current club, which now runs until the summer of 2029.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, there is a gentleman's agreement between Šeško and the club regarding a future transfer. This arrangement is similar to the one Borussia Dortmund had with Erling Haaland.

Previously, it was reported that Šeško had agreed to a move to Arsenal, though other top clubs were also interested. He also received offers from Saudi Arabia.

In the past season, the 21-year-old Slovenian scored 18 goals in 42 matches across all competitions.

Additionally, Šeško has already netted 11 goals in 29 appearances for the Slovenia national team, which will compete in a group with England, Serbia, and Denmark at Euro 2024.
