Deserved. Messi and Suarez named to the MLS Team of the Week

MLS officially unveiled the Team of the weekend of the regular season.

The team prominently features three representatives from the stellar Inter Miami, namely Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, both scoring two goals each against Orlando City (5-0), with the Uruguayan adding an assist to his impressive performance. Additionally, central midfielder Julian Gressel, who provided two goal assists, earned his place in the lineup.

Messi stands as the sole player to secure a spot in the lineup for the second consecutive week.

It's worth noting that these goals marked Luis Suarez's debut for Inter Miami.

The next MLS round commences on Saturday, March 9, with Inter Miami facing Montreal on March 10.
