Nigeria head coach Éric Chelle has hinted at a tactical change for the Super Eagles’ AFCON semi-final against hosts Morocco in Rabat on Wednesday. Speaking ahead of the match, Chelle admitted fatigue in his squad, saying, “I feel my group is tired… perhaps it’s time for me to change my approach.”
Morocco have been solid, conceding one goal and led by top scorer Brahom Diaz. Aware of the threat, Chelle said Nigeria may start cautiously. “We’ll hold on in the first half and try to play our game in the second half,” he said. He added, “Morocco doesn’t play like Algeria.”
