Casric Stars coach Bucs Mthombeni shares what his role is at the club: I am one of the owners of this team with my partner Caswell Mukansi

Bucs Mthombeni has clarified what his role is at Casric Stars apart from being the coach of the National First Division side.

Mthombeni disclosed that he co-owns the Mpumalanga-based side with his business partner, Caswell Mukansi.

“First of all, I’m not alone in this club,” Mthombeni told iDiski Times.

“We are two. To clarify this matter, I own this club with Mr Caswell Mukansi. To clarify this, he is the chairman and I am the coach. But we are partners.

“It’s not difficult because I’ve got my partner Mukansi who is dealing with all the other work that was supposed to stress me.

“Now, specifically, I was given the role of coaching the club due to what I’ve achieved and due to the experience that I’ve gained over the years. I’ve been coaching from the amateur level, going to the ABC Motsepe League in the North West and then to the ABC in Gauteng.

“And then after that, we purchased the status of Free State Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. Then we looked at what I’d done, and because of what I achieved, we decided – as directors – that I must take the coaching.”
