Cameroon football legend Roger Feutmba: Bafana Bafana have an edge over Cameroon ahead of the last-16 clash tomorrow night
Roger Feutmba does not see his native Cameroon beating Bafana Bafana tomorrow night.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder sees Bafana with an upper hand ahead of the Indomitable Lions in tomorrow’s Last-16 match.
This titanic encounter takes place at pm at the Al Barid Stadium in Rabat.
These two powerful footballing nations last met in 2016 during the 216 Afcon qualifiers which ended in a 2-2 and a 0-0 draws.
In total, Bafana and Cameroon faced each other on nine occasions with Bafana Bafana recording three wins, one defeat and five draws.
Feutmba expressed that he is surprised at his home country’s progress while still giving Bafana the edge above them.
“I’ve enjoyed the football at the AFCON. There have been some very good games,” said Feutmba on Radio 2000.
“But I didn’t think that Cameroon would qualify for the knockouts, considering the turmoil before the tournament. But I think Bafana have an advantage.”
