Braisaz-Bouchet is on top. The results of the women's sprint in Switzerland
In Lenzersheide, Switzerland, the inaugural race of the third stage of the Biathlon World Cup unfolded. On Thursday, December 14, only one race transpired - the women's sprint.
Securing victory in the competition was the French biathlete Braisaz-Bouchet, who required 22 minutes and 13.0 seconds to traverse the course. Remarkably, she expended no additional cartridges. Claiming the second position was the Norwegian biathlete Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, trailing by 12.2 seconds and also without the need for extra ammunition. Occupying the third tier was Lisa Vittozzi, lagging behind by 17.2 seconds. The Italian biathlete, too, refrained from utilizing any supplementary cartridges.
