Betway Premiership side Magesi FC announces departure of John Maduka while confirming Allan Freese as his replacement

John Maduka has left Magesi FC as coach and Allan Freese has replaced him.

“Thank you, Coach John Maduka, for your dedication and service to Magesi FC! Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors,” the club statement reads.

“This is to inform the public that Magesi Football Club has on this day the 11February 2026 terminated the Coaching Contract of JOHN MADUKA with immediate effect by mutual consent,” the club stated.

“The club has also concluded Contractual engagements with COACH ALLAN FREEZE who will resume Coaching responsibilities at Magesi FC with immediate effect.”

The Limpopo-based side are bottom of the PSL standings and are desperate to move away from the relegation quagmire which resulted in Maduka's sacking.

This Friday evening they face high-flying Golden Arrows in a Betway Premiership match which will be Freese's maiden game as Dikwena Tsa Meetsi gaffer.
