Abram Nteo on his future at Betway Premierhsip side Magesi FC: I am not sure yet where I stand as the management have not sat me down on my future
Abram Nteo revealed he is not sure yet if he will remain at Magesi FC or follow former coach John Maduka at the exit door.
Nteo was in charge last night as Magesi lost 2-0 to Golden Arrows in a Betway Premiership match played at Seshego Stadium.
Earlier this week, Magesi parted ways with John Maduka following a string of poor results which resulted in Dikwena Tsa Meetsi dropping to the bottom of the PSL standings.
He was immediately replaced with Allan Freese but the former Platinum Stars coach sat in the stands last night at the Polokwane venue.
“They have not spoken to me. I am still a Magesi FC coach. So they have not spoken to me, and I am still here,” he told journalists after the Arrows match.
Nteo has been Mabuka’s assistant since the season started disclosed that Freese has started making his way to their training ground.
“He managed to come to training on Thursday because we were doing the set pieces,” he said.
“We had a talk with him, and when he checked the stats, he understood that we are conceding a lot of goals as well. So one thing that he mentioned was not to concede a lot of goals and to make sure we defend first and get it right on attack.
“It’s something that we will work on, and we need to win because it’s getting tougher. So we need to win games so that we get out of the position that we are in.”
