The first weekend of March marks the start of the new Formula One season.

As anticipated, this season is poised to break records in terms of the number of races, with discussions abound regarding the primary contender for this year's championship title.

All the teams have already unveiled their chariots for the season ahead. While some have maintained their vehicles almost unchanged from the preceding season, others have altered their liveries or made adjustments to enhance performance or design.

The Dailysports team has put together all the information you need to know about the cars.

It's worth recalling that, as in recent years, ten teams will be participating in the competition.

McLaren F1 Team

Traditionally, Formula 1 teams unveil their cars for the upcoming season in early to mid-February, announcing the presentation date a few weeks prior. McLaren, however, made an unconventional move by revealing their new automobile unexpectedly on January 16th.

There have been no radical changes in the livery. The team has retained the papaya orange and black hues, albeit bidding adieu to the azure. Nevertheless, this livery should be regarded as foundational, for McLaren consistently crafts bespoke designs for specific Grand Prix events.

MoneyGram Haas F1 Team

Haas kept the date for the presentation of their new car under wraps for a considerable period but eventually conducted it on February 2nd. The team, which ranked as the weakest in the previous season, eschewed a grand presentation with drivers and instead issued a press release on their official website and social media platforms.

Similar to McLaren, there were no surprises. The color scheme of the Americans remained largely unchanged, albeit with the deep black shade now sporting a more lustrous finish.

The black colour has become much more than last season. If last year's car could be called black and white, the new car is almost completely black.

Williams Racing

The presentation of Williams took place in New York on February 5th. Judging from the photos and videos of the unveiling, last year's car has been adorned with new colors.

Comparatively, the livery has undergone slight alterations from the previous season, albeit not radically. The blue hue has darkened slightly, and there is an increased presence of black, or rather, pure carbon. This trend is one that all teams are compelled to follow this season.

Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber

On the same day, February 5th, but following Williams, Stake also unveiled their car.

If you missed their presentation, you missed out on a great deal. The new sponsor has taken a serious stance on rebranding the team, exuding style at every turn, and conducted the car unveiling at an extraordinary venue.

Regarding the car itself, it has emerged quite stylish and vibrant. While comparing the new livery to last year's Alfa Romeo car isn't entirely logical, given the absence of another reference point, it's worth noting that the density of Stake branding per unit area has increased, and the crimson has been replaced with an acid green. Additionally, none of the teams have managed to avoid expanding the area of unpainted black carbon.

Under studio lighting, the car appears rather unconventional, almost toy-like. It will be intriguing to witness its performance on the track under daylight. However, it's already evident that Stake will stand out amidst the familiar peloton.

BWT Alpine F1 Team

On February 7th, the BWT Alpine F1 Team unveiled their new chariot. The French outfit retained their customary blend of pink and blue hues from recent years.

However, while the color remains unchanged, its extent has significantly diminished. The pursuit of shedding excess weight, achievable through the absence of paint, has led every team to reduce the painted area. Alpine is no exception, aligning with this prevailing trend.

Following the vivid blue or pink of last year's car, we were presented with a carbon chassis adorned with a few splashes of paint.

Visa Cash App RB F1 Team

After several seasons with monotonous cars, predominantly black—or rather, carbon—with sporadic accents, we witnessed something vibrant at the February 8th presentation.

The team, previously known as Scuderia AlphaTauri last season but rebranded as the Visa Cash App RB F1 Team this year, thereby altered their livery. Yet, deeming it entirely new would be somewhat inaccurate. Fans may recall that five years ago, this same team was named Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda and sported a very similar livery design.

Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team

The team unveiled their car on February 12th. While their chariot wasn't revolutionary, it remained sufficiently striking amidst the competition.

It appears that the discontent among fans over the initially presented cars prompted other teams to reconsider their plans somewhat. Following a plethora of black and unassuming cars from McLaren, Haas, Williams, Sauber and Alpine, fans beheld a vivid livery.

Certainly, Aston Martin couldn't evade the allure of bare carbon, but their car appears green with black accents, rather than vice versa. Compared to last year's livery, the shade of green has slightly changed, promising an even more eye-catching appearance on the track.

Scuderia Ferrari

The presentation of the Ferrari car, held on February 13th, was notably modest by the standards of this legendary manufacturer. The Italians released a customary video and several renders of the SF-24. That was all. Soon after, footage of the new Scuderia machine on the track emerged.

It's doubly disheartening considering that this car warranted a much more vibrant presentation. The new livery, conceived after last year's Le Mans victory, turned out remarkably vivid. The customary red was complemented with yellow and white stripes, injecting new life into Ferrari's rather classical style.

Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team

Whether black or silver. That's how, on Valentine's Day, February 14th, the Mercedes team commented on the unveiling of their new livery on social media. It's an apt description, as alongside the customary black of recent years, the Germans added silver accents.

All the silver paint went to the upper surface of the car, ensuring a striking and stylish appearance from above. However, the front and lateral surfaces remained black.

It's worth noting that, unlike most teams, Mercedes not only changed their livery but also the car itself. The team had to bid farewell to last year's concept of zero sidepods and constructed an entirely new machine.

Oracle Red Bull Racing

The final team to unveil their chariot was Red Bull, and rather unexpectedly, their new car has undergone significant changes. The team, which clinched the championship title with a considerable margin last season, opted for radical solutions.

It's worth noting that these changes do not pertain to the adornment of the car. The livery of the "bulls" remains unchanged and recognizable over many years, making RB20 no exception.

However, it seems that the engineers worked far more extensively than the designers this winter. Primarily, this concerns the side pods, which have transformed beyond recognition. While most teams sought to replicate or adapt Red Bull's last year's solution, Adrian Newey has taken another leap forward.

The team has managed to conceal the true state of affairs, but it appears that the RB20 features two air intakes on each side. The upper one has a more conventional shape but has gained an additional plate on top. The lower one is situated beneath it and adopts a vertical slit, akin to last year's Mercedes car.
