Anthony Edwards compared the '90s NBA to the current generation

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards recently shared his thoughts on the NBA of the 1990s.
In his opinion, the most skilled basketball player of that era was the legendary Michael Jordan.
Edwards believes that no one possessed the necessary skills until the mid-80s and 90s when Jordan emerged. He also pointed out that nowadays, everyone in the NBA has advanced skills.
"I didn’t watch the NBA back then, so I can’t really speak on it. People say it was tougher than now, but I don’t think anyone had those skills back then. Michael Jordan was the only one who truly had skills, you know what I mean? That’s why when they saw Kobe [Bryant], they were like, ‘Oh my God.’ But now, everyone’s got skills," Edwards stated.
In his fourth NBA season, the 23-year-old averaged an impressive 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
By the way, three USA national team basketball players were forced to take a doping test immediately after the final of the 2024 Olympics.
