The U.S. national basketball team reached the final of the 2024 Olympic Games, where they defeated France to claim the gold medals.

Shooting guard Anthony Edwards shared with Bleacher Report that after the final match in Paris, he, Curry, and Durant had to undergo doping tests.

"We couldn't even really celebrate because Steph, KD, and I had to go through drug testing or something like that," Edwards explained.

It’s no surprise Curry was tested after the game, as the star point guard delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 24 points with eight three-pointers, leading Team USA to a 98-87 victory over France.

In the men's tournament, the United States claimed victory, defeating their opponents 87-98 in the final and winning their fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal. In the women's tournament, the U.S. team also emerged victorious, narrowly beating France 66-67 to secure their eighth consecutive gold.

Notably, this Olympic gold became the sixth in the career of American basketball player Diana Taurasi, making her the most decorated basketball player in Olympic history.
