Today, on the final day of the 2024 Olympics, the women’s basketball tournament concluded with the final match. As with the men’s tournament, the gold medals were contested by the USA and France.
Unlike yesterday’s final, today’s game was much more competitive. Although it wasn’t the most thrilling or high-scoring (the teams were tied 25-25 at halftime), it remained tense until the end.
The USA team managed to confirm their status as favorites and won another gold medal at the Olympics. The standout performer was A'ja Wilson from the Las Vegas Aces, who achieved a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds.
