The NBA team, the Los Angeles Clippers, will soon change its emblem upon moving to a new arena.

On the team's official page, they've posted a video and information stating that starting from the next season, the Clippers will relocate to the new "IntuiDome" stadium, where they will debut the new emblem.

The updated logo depicts the silhouette of a arriving ship, referencing the club's origins in the port city of San Diego, a compass pointing to the letter N in "Los Angeles" signifying a steadfast direction, and the letter C. The Clippers emphasize that the refreshed logo illustrates movement and precision while honoring the team's maritime heritage. Notably, the Clippers last changed their emblem in 2018.

The Clippers are a professional basketball club competing in the Pacific Division of the NBA's Western Conference. Founded in 1970 in Buffalo, New York, as the Buffalo Braves, the team relocated to San Diego in 1978, rebranding as the San Diego Clippers. In 1984, the club moved to Los Angeles, where it is currently based, playing home games at the Staples Center.

Following their move to California, the team struggled for success both in the regular season and playoffs. It wasn't until the 2010s, with the arrival of players like Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, that the Clippers consistently reached the playoffs, winning their division championship for the first time in 2013.
