The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially appointed Malian referee Boubou Traore to take charge of the highly anticipated group-stage match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Tunisia at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
In addition to Traore’s appointment, CAF has confirmed that Senegalese match official Issa Sy will serve as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the encounter.
The crucial group-stage fixture is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 pm Nigeria time on Saturday and will be played at the Complexe Sportif de Fès.
