AFCON 2025: Appoints Boubou Traoré to Officiate Morocco vs Tanzania Round of 16 Clash
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Malian referee Boubou Traoré to take charge of the highly anticipated Morocco vs Tanzania Round of 16 encounter at the AFCON 2025 tournament in Morocco.
Traoré will be in charge when the two sides face off on Sunday, January 4, at the iconic Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. Supporting him with video technology will be Senegalese official Issa Sy, who has been assigned the role of Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
