AFCON 2025: Sudan, Tunisia, Tanzania, and South Africa Eliminated in Round of 16
Four countries have been eliminated from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) following the conclusion of some Round of 16 matches in Morocco.
South Africa are the latest team to bow out of the tournament after a 2–1 defeat to Cameroon on Sunday night. However, not all Round of 16 fixtures have been played yet, as the remaining matches will take place in the coming days to determine the fate of the other teams still in contention.
