Abdou Diallo calls for unity behind Senegal in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco

Abdou Diallo has expressed his support for the Lions of Teranga ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco on Sunday, 18 January 2026. Beyond his own support, the Senegalese international called on the Senegalese people to rally behind the national team as they face an opponent who will be playing in front of their home crowd.

In a message posted on his Instagram account, Abdou Diallo said: "Let's all get behind the Senegalese national team for this final. Whatever happens, the jersey will be soaked. And it will be very difficult to deprive us of this trophy. There are more than 17 million of us standing together."

Although he is absent from Pape Thiaw's squad in Morocco, the 29-year-old defender remains alongside his teammates.
